Dependence of Weibull parameters on temperature and stress triaxiality in the Beremin model

Abstract

An improved model based on the Beremin model is proposed to explain the experimental result that micro-cracks of size of ferrite grain are found in tensile test, but not found in fracture toughness test in the transition temperature region. Variation of the Weibull parameter due to change of temperature and stress triaxiality is also predicted in terms of the present model in consistence with experimental results.
