Abstract

High pressure apparatus has been designed to measure the electrical and magnetic properties of condensed matters. It is shown that this apparatus can be used at least up to 24kbar and 5 tesla at low temperature down to ca. 2K. Application of this apparatus to measure the thermal expansion, electrical resistivity, magnetostriction and magnetoresistance is briefly described.
