Abstract
This study aims to perform comparative analysis of the ease of use and barriers to use among cancer
survivors by age group, and to consider measures to promote usage so that cancer survivors can use cancer
consultation and support centers effectively when necessary. An online questionnaire survey was conducted among
cancer survivors, and cross-tabulation and chi-square test (residual analysis) were performed between items
related to the use of cancer consultation and support centers and distribution by age. As a result, doctor’ s
recommendations were effective for older generations. With regard to the physical environment, the ideal facilities
convenient to drop in and easy accessibility proved to be helpful for the cancer survivors to visit without hesitation.
Concerning awareness(cognition)of use, measures to reduce skepticism about the usefulness of use and
resistance to use would promote usage of cancer consultation and support centers with appropriate information
provided in correspondence to each generation.
