A Study on P2M and Matrix Tool Application to R&D Stage Problems

Abstract

This study proposes P2M way program management method for R&D technology themes to efficiently get through both the “Valley of Death” and the “Devil’s River.” The uniqueness is proposed in R&D-theme 3x3 matrix method which could motivate the number of participants and stakeholders. The matrix facilitates to share the view to the technology theme, application level, and classification. The researchers intend to systematize the tool for the purpose linked to 3S model of P2M.2, 3 This study identified the effectiveness of the method by applying it to real processes in several R&D technology themes.
