Abstract
The literature on Ban Sugoroku is scattered, and much of it is written in Kuzushiji, making them difficult to decipher unless one is an expert. One example that can be cited is the recent discovery of “Sugoroku Youki”. In recent years, AI-based Kuzushiji deciphering apps have been gaining attention. This paper examines whether Kuzushiji recognition AI can be utilized for the transcription of ancient literature and aims to analyze the first part of “Sugoroku Youki”.
