Abstract

Given the importance of ensuring that medications are discontinued appropriately before surgery, particularly in　elderly patients, it is crucial to manage these medications to avoid potential impacts on blood pressure, heart rate, bleeding risk, and blood sugar levels. Therefore, in this paper, we emphasize the development of an application aimed at enhancing patient understanding and confirmation of the medications that should be discontinued preoperatively. This is essential for successful surgical outcomes and optimal anesthetic management.
