Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present the supporting system developed for the persons of diverse characteristics of color vision, who try to create color design works. Here, the authors focus attention on the field of two-color-combination design, as the object of support. The supporting system provides advices, which correspond to the requirement for affective expression of a color design work, in the form of concrete examples of two-color combination. The system also provides the information about the color difference between the color sensed by dichromats and that by trichromats; it makes possible to recognize the extent of color sensation over people, including the designers and the appreciators. The effect of the system is confirmed by the experiment of two-color-combination design done with non-trichromatic designers and trichromatic appreciators.
