Abstract
A map matching method with fuzzy inference using vehicle existence factors of each segmented road link is presented. The vehicle existence factors are defined by the cumulative distance and angle, which are calculated with GPS data. From the simulation results with actual data, a map matching error reduction of the proposed map matching algorithm is confirmed.
