Investigation of Rotary Control for Strong Winds on Small Wind Turbine

Abstract

Presently, there is a need for the development of a rotary control circuit for small wind turbines that can be prepared against strong winds and typhoons in Japan. Through reviewing the brake system for small wind turbines, and by inhibiting power generation capacity during times of strong wind through the performance of this brake system, the burden on generators was able to be reduced.
