Examination by Subjective Evaluation on Luminous Surface of Lit-sign by Using LED

Abstract

In this study，the experiment of subjective evaluation for brightness and visibility on luminous surface of lit-sign by using LED(Light Emitting Diode) was conducted. As a result，it is clear the luminance uniformity ratio satisfied both brightness and visibility on luminous surface. It is also shown that the setting of LED of lit-sign to which energy consumption and extra brightness are suppressed compared with fluorescent lamp.
