Abstract
Practical daylighting calculations and evaluations require algorithms for various sky conditions and complex fenestration systems. The authors have developed All Sky Model that represents all sky conditions. The objectives of this study are to incorporate it into daylighting simulation software and to validate its performance. All Sky Model is composed of a relative sky luminance model and a zenith luminance model for all sky conditions, and a function of horizontal global illuminance, solar altitude and solar azimuth. This report shows examples of All Sky Model applied to Radiance and results of trial implementation.
