Abstract
This paper reports the result that measured the actual condition of the indoor illuminance of five aged families. The indoor illuminance was measured in 2 kinds of residences of an independence residence and apartments.There were few changes of the illuminance in the residence that are constantly attaching artificial lighting. It showed the value that almost became stable. On the other hand, the indoor illuminance in the residence that daylight is a lighting source was changed largely. The 5 people of aged regarded as an object went out well. Therefore, I was not able to examine sufficient the influence that light environment gives to health of aged.
