To investigate visibility of the critical object using total revealing power need relationship between road luminance and luminance contrast to assure visibility of the critical object. But we never have gotten it for speed condition 80km/h by examination using trial lighting installation. Because of probability for the correct perception for all conditions were more than 75%. We tried an examination using computer graphics. As a result, we found road luminance for Japanese standard is about five times as high as one gotten by CG examination and road luminance by CG examination corresponded one by examination using trial lighting installation.
