This investigation aims to gain an understanding of the lighting arrangements providing a feeling of security and anticipation in the residential corridor. In this report, we tried to clarify the effect of sequential lighting on the psychological evaluation. Experiments were held with a full-size model consist of corridor, anterior room, and posterior room. Illuminance and luminance were measured at strategic points. The results show that the anterior room lighting effects the evaluation of corridor and posterior room. Evaluation of brightness and glare correlate with luminance and illuminance. Evaluation of walkableness correlates with the minimum illuminance on the floor.
