Analysis of visual information while driving in consideration of aging effects of light scattering in eyeball.

Abstract

Traffic accident of older drivers keeps increasing every year. In this research, the decrease of visual characteristics of older drivers was analyzed. The computer graphics that simulate in consideration of the aging change in the visual characteristics was developed. The influence that the glare veiling of the headlight exerted on a peripheral visibility was examined.
