Abstract
The libraries of Teikyo University have been using FAST for over ten years. FAST, a service offered by Swets & Zeitlinger B. V. of the Netherlands, is a system for controlled ordering, receipt and distribution of serials for individual libraries. In recent years a similar system has been introduced by some subscription agencies in Japan. This report describes the circumstances and experiences as a user of FAST. Swets & Zeitlinger B. V. now offers new services, DataSwets and SwetScan, via the Internet. DataSwets is an on-line communication system for librarians, and SwetScan is an electronic table of a contents service. In addition to reporting these services, we describe services in our library via the Internet such as the World Wide Web Home Page.
