Various kinds of experimental diets were administered to male SHRSP and their effects were examined. Although the experiment is under observation, the following results were obtained. In the casein or fish meal diet groups, whether in 12% or 24% crude protein, strokes were prevented. Meanwhile, in the fish meal diet groups with soybean cake or gluten, which contained 15-22% crude protein, gain in body weight, the level of blood pressure and the incidence of strokes seemed to be approximately the same degree as the control.
