Abstract
In this paper, the authors introduce a large hologram screen for three-dimensional display. The observer without special glasses can look at bright and life-sized 3D images with see-through style under normal lighting. This method realize a simple 3D display system because the input images of two cameras are directly projected without extra data processing by the LCD projectors of high light and high resolution. This paper explains the architecture of the simple 3D display using single focal holography. It moreover clears the improvement of diffractive efficiency for achromatic hologram through volume holography. It introduces two original recording techniques for making hologram screens large scale.
