Abstract
We use video contents over the broadband network very often. Due to large volumes of content data for high quality, a stable video content delivery system is constantly being required to realize worldwide video content services. A content management method is needed. We had proposed the VCDS: “Video Cache Delivery System”. Firstly, we explain the basic structure the procedure in VCDS. Frequency methods are used as general methods. Meanwhile, we propose time priority methods, and the priority function is defined, considering update term and valid term of the usage information for content management methods based on content priority. We evaluate the proposed method by simulation experiments. Finally, the advantages of proposed methods for content management in VCDS are shown.
