Research on Calibration Constant for Diagnostic X-ray Energy of TLD-MSO-S Type Dosimeter

Abstract

We have researched and reported on the sensitivity characteristics of thermoluminescence dosimeters, but as for the sensors of the dosimeters(MSO-S type), those in the research and reports made so far were the case of X-ray energy being effective energy(keV).In this reseach, as to the case of X-ray energy being diagnostic X-ray energy(kV), the sensitivity characteristics were experimentally examined, and the energy calibration constant which is required for dosimetry was determined.As the result, the calibration constant for the X-ray energy(kV)of the MSO-S type was obtained as the simple epuation.This fact is useful for measuring X-ray with good accuracy.
