Abstract
The case, 39 years of age, was admitted to the Kokura National Hospital due to the disturbances of urinary evacuation and defecation. A tumor about the size Of child's head was detected at the bladder, and its shadow was observed by x-ray. Severe hematuria and anemia continued and general state of health was very bad ; hemoglobin count was 40% by Sahli, leukocyte count was 10, 400 and erythrocyte count was 3, 170, 000. The case was fatal 3 months after the hospitalization. Autopsy revealed a prostatic tumor measurring 12.5×17.0×9.5cm and weighing 1, 560g. Histologically, it was a spindle cell sarcoma.
