Abstract
The investigations were made to study the effect and the secondary reaction on the 34 cases of spondylitis deformans by Corticoid Therapy (Dexamethasone).
1) The medical effect. (Dexamethasone total dosis 45m prescription time 30 days.)
The percentage of the effective cases was 8.8%, slightly effective cases 38.29% unchangeable cases 32.4%, and unavailable cases 20.6%.
2) The serum-electrolytes before and after the Dexamethasone-therapy were not almost unhangeable. After the serum-Na., and-Ca. were slightly functionally disordered, and the serum-K, was found little hyper functionally, after the treatment. The erythrocyten-precipitation became better.
3) The secondary reaction was found on 35.6% of this cases. The gastroenteric disorders were 8 cases. Nausea were 3 cases. The insomnia were 2 cases. The moon-face, the giddiness and the polyuria were each one case. These symptoms were very slight except one case of the relapsing of the peptic ulcer.
