Abstract
The non-tuberculous pulmonary disease increased every year, it was 8.4% in 1964, and 24.9% in 1971 at Nakano-Byoin National Sanatorium.
The pulmonary cancer, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma and spontaneous pneumothorax increased in recent years.
The measurement of respiratory resistance by oscillation method is quite useful to interpret clinical symptom in the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
The bronchial washing is useful method to the patient of bronchial asthma.
The inhalation of oxygen was administered to the cases whose PaO2 became below 50mmHg.
The clearance of secretion and treatment of infection in the respiratory tract on the case of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is exceedingly needed.
