Abstract
A case of toxic epidermal necrolysis and intrahepatic cholestasis due to six drugs including anti-inflammatory agents and antibiotics in a 23-year-old woman is presented. She was admitted to our hospital because of fever, sore throat and generalized erythema with marked lymphocytopenia and abnormalities of liver function test. She ultimately recovered by treatment with corticosteroid, but with the elevated serum levels of enzymes reflecting cholestasis lasting 17 months. Lymphocyte stimulation test showed positive for all these six drugs. Liver biopsy specimen under laparoscopy disclosed a picture of cholestatic hepatitis histologically.
