We reported a case of the torsion of the ovarial dermoid cyst in a child. A 13-year-old girl complained of lower abdominal pain and admitted to our hospital. As the pain became more severe and emergency CT showed a ovarial cystic tumor with calcification, we diagnosed the torsion of the ovarial cyst. An emergency operation was done on July 20th 1994
