Abstract
The progression of coronary artery disease is very significant coronary event as well as cardiac death, AMI, and late CABG, We studied CAG films from 1985 to 1996 (1098 patients of coronary artery disease), and found new lesions in 94 patients (m=61.6yrs, male 74, female 20). Some following factors which affect on long term survival rate, age (>65yrs), extent of myocardial damage (AMI or angina), lesion morphology (complex lesion or not), EF (<40%), number of related vessel, number of OMI related vessel, complete revascularization or not, were tested statistically in this report. The survival rate of all in 5 years was 93.5%, which was not so low rate unexpectedly. But in low EF group (<40%), multi OMI vessel disease group, and incomplete revascularization group, the survival rate were significantly reduced by the events.
