Abstract
The kidney transplantation is medical treatment established as a radical therapy of an advanced stage chronic renal insufficiency patient. However, in our country the 600-700 patients received renal allograft per year. In our country, patients who are receiving the dialysis therapy (hemodialysis and CAPD) exist about 176, 000 and 14, 000 patients hope for cadaveric renal transplantation and have registered in Japan Organ Transplant Network. In the kidney transplantation, there is cadaveric renal transplantation which receives the offer of the kidney after the death and in doing living renal transplantation which receives the offer of one kidney from the healthy related person. In this paper, the following are described : Procedures of living renal transplantation and cadaveric renal transplantation, transplantation operations, immunosuppressive agent, rejections, complications, general patient care, and etc.
