Abstract
Human major histocompatibility antigen is called as human leukocyte antigen (HLA) that shows self in the immune system. HLA molecules present antigen peptides to T lymphocyte in the beginning of immune responses and act as a target of cytotoxic T lymphocyte, HLA mismatching induces rejection in organ transplantation. Precise HLA types are now obtained by a DNA typing method. Better HLA-matching pairs in Japan should be found in the same Japanese population through the organ transprantation network.
