Abstract
Along with various functional tests on autonomic nervous system in tuberculous patients the authors conducted studies on the degree of tuberculin and mallein reactions as well as on the influence of vagostigmin upon these reactions.
The results are as follows
1) Tuberculin and mallein reactions were found positive in most cases in which autonomic functions were considered hyperactive. However, there was no parallelism between these reactions.
2) A decreased autonomic function was observed in most cases in which the reaction of tuberculin and mallein tests were found negative.
3) While the addition of vagostigmin resulted in accentuated reaction of tuberculin test, no such phenomenon was observed in mallein reaction. On the contrary in some cases the addition of vagostigmin caused a decreased reaction of this test
