Abstract
The effects of the antituberculous preparations upon the rate of growth of tubercle bacilli were observed, by various grades of concentrations of each drugs and by hours, i. e., 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 and 24 hours. The following results were obtained.
1) INAH, DSM, PAS, TB1 had remarkable activities of inhibition of the growth of tubercle bacilli, by any grades of density tried. INAH showed the strongest effect, PAS cane in the 2nd order and DSM, TB1 took the next places.
2) The inhibitory activities upon the rate of growth of tubercle bacilli within 6 hours were not remarkable, while by 12 hours the delay of the rate of growth of tubercle bacilli increased remarkably.
