Abstract
Menstrual health is a fundamental issue intersecting gender equity, public health, and sociocultural
norms. Limited access to appropriate Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) resources
disproportionately affects marginalized communities, including Indigenous populations. The
Hokkaido-Melbourne Joint Research Workshop aimed to bridge research, policy, and practice to
improve menstrual health globally, particularly in high-income countries (HICs) and low- and
middle-income countries (LMICs).
