Abstract
[Purpose] In this study, we performed taping on the ankle joint and verified whether the agility is increased. [Subjects and Methods] The subjects were ten male university students who had no disease in the ankle joint. We carried out forward and backward steps in Optojump Next, measured the number of steps and compared by type of taping. [Results] Comparison between non-stretch taping and mixed pattern showed that the number of steps of the mixed pattern was high (p ‹0.05). There was no statistically significant difference when comparing mixed patterns with no taping. [Conclusion] It was suggested that conducting taping does not affect agility.
