Abstract
[Purpose] This study aimed to research the influence of the difference of the type of taping on the jump performance. [Subjects and Methods] Ten subjects were adult males in our university. The height of the continuous jump was compared using Optojump Next with 4 patterns of no tape, non-elastic tape, elastic tape and mixing. For the mixing pattern, non-elasticity for star-up, elasticity for heel lock · figure 8 was used. [Results] There was no significant difference in the results between the four conditions. [Conclusion] Although there was no statistical difference, jump performance tended to improve by enforcing a mixed pattern for those who had a history of sprains.
