Abstract

A simplified method of analyzing experimental data for the purposes of ascertaining the interaction coefficients in alloy systems has been presented. A notable feature of the present method is its ability to extract the first and second-order interaction coefficients from a single equation which expresses the temperature and composition-dependences of the solubility of the solute element.
