Abstract
Photographic properties of the dye-sensitized PVK film were studied in each case of monochrome-reproduction and color-reproduction. In monochrome-reproduction, we studied V~log E curve, HD curve and D~V curve and confirmed the excellent tone reproducibility. In color-reproduction, the back-exposure type color reproduction method and the mutual development effect of the color toner were evaluated. The above results lead to the conclusion that excellent tone-reproduction and faithful image reproduction to originals are available both in monochrome-reproduction and in color-reproduction, and those properties can be compared favourably with the photographic properties in AgX photography.
