Abstract
Scientific experiments generally need expensive equipment, but it is possible to obtain scientific knowledge if various creative tasks are carried out even if there is no expensive equipment. The present study is an investigation of non-professional (amateur) scientists into psychokinetic metal bending (PKMB), so-called spoon bending, which is a kind of macro PK phenomenon. We made direct observations, and also watched video records and made electron microscope observations of materials that had been bent previously. Also, we carried out new PKMB tests using Ni-Ti alloys (shape memory and super-elastic alloys). As a result, we found deformation by PKMB remained for materials made of super-elastic alloy. This suggested a possibility to develop a new material which can react to macro PK easily.
