Abstract
Cancer therapy through integrative medicine that combined the stellate ganglion-blocked, sugar-restricted diet, Chinese herbal medicine and qigong, and was further augmented by low-molecular fucoidan supplementation gave rise to several favorably improved clinical courses. The author reports the results for the following cases: (1) an 80-year-old male patient with a history of stage IV hepatocellular carcinoma of more than 5 years; (2) a 65-year-old female patient with stage III lung cancer who had had an upper lobectomy of the right lung 4 years ago and following treatments with oral molecular-targeted and anti-cancer drugs that resulted in level two plus-pleural effusion; (3) a 60-year-old female patient with less than a 5-year history of stage IIA breast cancer who had clearly reduced the level of an apoptotic marker of anti-p53 antibody, and who reported changes of the autonomic nerve function adjustability, vascular age and ketone body levels through integrative medical treatment together with 3 days fasting; and (4) a 73-year-old male patient with stage III recurrent pancreatic cancer who was monitored for the levels of serotonin, adiponectin and ketone bogy. Better future alternative clinical approaches, suggested by the clinical courses for these four patients in the author’s clinic are discussed.
