CANTOR SETS IN LOCALLY COMPACT GROUPS

Abstract

In this paper we introduce a modified version of Aleksandrov Theorem on non-discrete Hausdorff locally compact groups. This also provides us a method to construct Cantor type sets in any positive left Haar measure subset.
