When respondents need consultation about the problems in day-to-day life, the most important tie is their family/relatives. Friends/acquaintances of same ethnicity in Japan is also important, especially, this goes for industrial trainees, who doesn't have its ties. The highly reliance of industrial trainees and Nikkei foreigners on the work/trainees' cooperative is ascertained in this analysis. Additionally, for Nikkei foreigners and Filipino industrial trainees the religious organization plays a role in the consultation.
