Abstract
We have developed a real-time codec based on MPEG2(4 : 2 : 2 Profile@Main Level) standard. This codec supports up to 36Mbps(I : Intra-frame, IP, IPB mode) coding rate for video signal, and has built-in processing circuit conform to the DVB(Digital Video Broadcasting) standard. This system provides high quality multiple Audio and Video transmission link for broadcasting use.
