Abstract

Progressive decoding with Wavelet Transform is proposed. It enables the decoder to stop processing at any point of the bitstream, and it enables to decode the reconstructed image using the only part of the bitstream. Furthemore it doesn't provide any overhead while achieving the progressive decoding.
