Recognition of Hand Shape Using Hidden Markov Model

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a hand shape recognition approach based on the hidden Markov model. This approach uses one dementional feature pattern derived from a radius sequence from the center of gravity to the edge in a silhouette image.
