Motion-Adaptive Scan Converter Using Sub-Sample Signals

Abstract

Motion-adaptive scan converter using sub-sample signals is described. In stationary area, the interpolation signal is produced by the sub-sampled previous field signal and the current field signals. Experimental results show that the picture quality as same as the conventional methods is obtained.
