A Study of Monopole Antenna Loaded by a Short-Circuited Coaxial Stub

Abstract

In this paper, the monopole antenna loaded by a short-circuited coaxial stub is analyzed. The moment method has been used to calculate the input impedance, resonant frequency. Practical design parameters to optimize the antenna size and impedance matching for the loaded monopole antenna are presented.
