Abstract
Until now we could not measure the characteristics of broadcasting equipment while TX is in service, because special test signal is required for getting them, that is to say, we needed closing down or scheduled and limited maintenance period. Therefore we have developed "A new measuring system for getting transmission characteristic", which gets the characteristics from FFT and computer processing orthogonal coherent detected transmitting input signals and its corresponding output signals. Accordingly it is possible for us to measure transmitting equipment characteristics without scheduling maintenance shutdown.
