Abstract

We have been investigating a novel smart sensor in which every pixel independently controls its integration time. The integration time is controlled so that it has higher temporal resolution and wider dynamic range. In this paper, we describe circuit and layout of new adaptive-integration-time image sensor which has 128×64 pixels. We have designed the prototype by using a column parallel architecture.
