In this paper, we discuss the characteristics of vector quantization on the angle coordinates space, and explain that the method is appropriate for image compression and image processing. The method's interested characteristic which transforms random original image signal distribution into regular signal is the same process as DCT(Discrete Fourier transform). Therefore, we can design many application.
