Abstract
It is proposed that new technology should be developed from the viewpoint of TV-viewers in forthcoming digital broadcasting. Digital broadcasting enables to present new functions as well as multi-channel HDTV programs, while usability is apt to be drastically decreased. Various trail to settle the contradiction are shown in this paper.
