Abstract

Software-based video coding is becoming possible by increase of processing speed of computers, and fast motion estimation (ME) algorithm. We propose a new controlling scheme of ME parameters, based on picture related feature, which is calculated during Successive Elimination Algorithm (SEA) method for ME.
