4-5 Evaluation of Stereoscopic Images Impaired by the Differences in Black/White Levels

Abstract

Watching stereoscopic images with right-left imbalances causes eyestrain and stress for the viewer. This study focuses on the disturbance caused by differences in black or white clip levels between right and left images. In a subjective experiment we examined the detectable threshold and the degree of disturbance when there are differences in these clip levels.
